A control unit (5) judges whether or not a state that the accelerator pedal travel detected by an accelerator pedal travel sensor (S) is a predetermined accelerator pedal travel or more and the atmospheric pressure detected by the pressure sensor (P) is a predetermined pressure or less has continued for a predetermined time. If the result of the judgment is "YES", the control unit (5) changes the maximum rotational speed allowed for the compressor (31) from a normal maximum rotational speed to an increase-period maximum rotational speed. The control unit (5) also judges whether or not a predetermined time has elapsed after the maximum rotational speed is changed to the increase-period maximum rotational speed and judges whether or not a state that the discharge temperature of the gas discharged from the compressor (31) detected by a temperature sensor (T) is a predetermined temperature or more has continued for a predetermined time. If the result of at least one of the judgment is "YES", the control unit (5) returns the maximum rotational speed to the normal maximum rotational speed.
