PURPOSE:To attain the reducing processing of original picture data with a constitution faithful and easy to original picture data as much as possible by executing and OR processing only before a simple reduction is executed, replacing the designated picture element to the OR processed data and reducing simply the result. CONSTITUTION:The system is constituted of a control part 1 and a processing part 30 and the processing part 30 is constituted of a simple thinning reducing part 22 and an OR preprocessing means (OR preprocessing part) 10. Based upon original picture data 1 transferred from a host device and ratio designating information 5 showing a reducing ratio, etc., the reducing position of a picture element is designated, the OR is obtained with the left or right picture element of the picture element in which the reducing position is designated before the simple reduction is executed, the designated picture element is replaced to the OR processed picture element and outputted to the simple thinning reducing part 22. Thus, the faithful reducing processing can be realized with a simple system by original picture data. |
