PURPOSE:To always surely grasp the carrying state of toner and to immediately execute the stop of a device or other proper processing in response to the change of the carrying state by arranging a detecting means for detecting the rotating speed of a carrying screw on a proper position of a tube. CONSTITUTION:Waste toner accumulated by the screw 4 is successively discharged from a cleaning device, and while being guided by the tube 3, guided into a photosensitive body 2. When the toner is carried under its normal state, the screw 4 is also rotated at a fixed speed, but when a toner stock part in the photosensitive body 2 is filled with toner, toner can not be fed furthermore or toner solidification is generated in the carrier, torque required for the rotation of the screw 4 is increased, so that the rotating speed of the screw 4 is dropped. Since the rotation of a detecting member 6 fitted to the screw 4 is also delayed, the delay of the rotation is detected by a period detector 8 and a drive stop signal is outputted to a drive control part 9. |
