PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording medium of the type stuck with two sheets of information recording medium units by joining two sheets of information recording members each having a laminate contg. a light absorptive layer provided in contact with a recording layer consisting of a polymer blend in such a manner that the respective laminate sides face each other. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium unit A (recording member A) formed by laminating a substrate 11a, the light absorptive layer 12a and the recording layer 13a contg. the polymer blend and the recording medium unit B (recording member B) formed by laminating the substrate 11b, the light absorptive layer 12b and the recording layer 13b contg. the polymer blend are joined to each other by an adhesive agent layer 15 in such a manner that the recording layers 13a, 13b of both members are the same as each other. The recording member A and the recording member B may be respectively the same or different. The polymer blend is a mixture composed of >=2 kinds of polymers and can generate a state change between a compatible state and phase sepn. state. The light absorptive material has high absorptivity to laser light and exhibits an exothermic effect by absorption of light. |
