PURPOSE:To prevent a wrinkle, fold, etc. from being generated in a sheet, by returning the sheet in a speed faster than the speed, when the sheet is fed from a sheet conveying part, again to the sheet conveying part. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed part 1 feeds a document D being separated sheet by sheet into a conveying part 2. The conveying part 2 conveys one sheet of the document, fed from the paper feed part 1, to a copying position on a contact glass 4 serving as a predetermined processing position, and the document is once stopped further conveyed again to be fed into a document inverting part 3 through a conveying port E. The document inverting part 3 feeds the document, fed from the conveying part 2, inverting an obverse of the document to its reverse again to the conveying part 2 through the conveying port E or discharges the document being left as not inverting its obverse to the reverse to the outside. The document, once fed out from a belt 212 to the inverting part 3, is returned in a speed fester than the speed, when the document is fed out from the belt, again to the conveying part 2, that is, onto the contact glass 4. As the result, a wrinkle and a fold can be prevented from being generated in the document conveyed in the inverting part 3. |
