PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition, consisting of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer rubber, polyamide and modified olefin polymer and having well balanced excellent mechanical strength and heat aging resistance. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 90-60pts.wt. ethylene-alpha- olefin copolymer rubber with (B) 10-40pts.wt. polyamide and (C) 0.5-40pts.wt. modified olefin polymer to give 100pts.wt. total amount of the components (A) and (B). Ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber, ethylene-1-butene-polyene copolymer rubber, etc., may be used as the component (A). A modified olefin polymer having functional groups, e.g. carboxyl groups, epoxy groups, etc., or a phenolic compound linked to a novolak prepolymer may be used as the component (C). |
