PURPOSE:To initialize the titled processor under the same condition as the time of connecting a power source, and also, to simplify a hardware circuit, by unifying an initializing command to an initializing signal at the time of connecting the power source. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is connected to an information processor, an initializing signal 11 is outputted from an initializing circuit 3, a micro- processor 1 and a controlling circuit 2 are initialized, and the processor 1 reads an initialization diagnostic program 13 from a ROM 4 and starts to execute the program. This processor 1 issues a command to the circuit 2 by the program 13, receives a status signal 15 for showing an initial diagnosis, from the circuit 2, and decides whether a fault is generated or not. Also, when generation of a fault is detected from the signal 15, the processor 1 sends out an initialization start signal to the circuit 3, starts the circuit 3, and re-executes the program 13 by generating the initializing signal 11. |
