PURPOSE:To uniformly distribute fuel without causing the consumption of fuel to deteriorate in a specific operating range, by feeding fuel and pressurized air or air sucked from the side upstream of a throttle valve, through distributing pipe lines after they are led into a distributor. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control device 47 controls a fuel pump 13, a fuel injection valve 11 and an air pump 19 in accordance with signals from various kinds of sensors 43 through 46. Further, during operation of an engine 6 a prime-mover 40 operates a distributor 17 to uniformalize fuel jetted from a jet port 16 in the injection valve 11, and thereafter the fuel is fed from an air passage 20 into an intake-air manifold 4 through distributing pipes 32 under action of pressurized air or the like, and is then fed into cylinders 7 together with air flowing through an intake-air system 5. At this time, an air pressure regulator 18 maintains the pressure differential between the internal pressure of the distributor 17 and the negative pressure of the intake-air manifold 4 at a predetermined value. Meanwhile, during no load operation or low load operation, fuel is fed into the distributing pipe lines 32 from the distributor 17 together with air sucked through a second air passage 23. |
