PURPOSE:To achieve the enhancement in fuel consumption in a spark-ignition engine, while driving it by using gasoline as a fuel at the time of start, by changing over the fuel to light oil or the like as the temperature of an inlet manifold rises, so that the flammability of light oil or the like is heightened to be used as a main fuel. CONSTITUTION:When a spark-ignition engine 5 is driven and intake is carried out through an inlet manifold 4, gasoline is sprayed from a nozzle 8 on one side by the air flow passing through a carburetor 2 on one side. And when exhaust gases are discharged through an exhaust manifold 6, the inlet manifold 4 is heated via a heat exchanging means 17. As a result, a temperature detecting means 18 deforms so that a stop valve 15 of the carburetor 2 on one side is closed, and further a stop valve 16 of a carburetor 3 on the other side is opened. Then, light oil or the like is sprayed from a nozzle 10 on the other side by the air flow passing through the carburetor 3 on the other side, and this is heated by fins 19 and then supplied to the engine 5. |
