METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL GIVING DYE IMAGE HAVING SUPERIOR GRAININESS

PURPOSE:To obtain a dye image having superior graininess by incorporating silver halide particles contg. >=0.5mol% silver iodide into at least one of silver halide emulsion layers and by carrying out specified processing. CONSTITUTION:When photographic constituent layers including one or more silver halide emulsion layers are formed on a support, silver halide particles contg. >=0.5mol% silver iodide are incorporated into at least one of the emulsion layers. The rate of swelling of the photographic constituent layers is regulated to <=20sec and the thickness of each of the layers to <=25mum. The resulting silver halide color photographic sensitive material can be processed with a color developing soln. in <=180sec and a dye image having improved graininess and little yellow stain is obtd.
