PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which permits fixing at the lower temp. and has good offset resistance by using a copolymer prepd. by chemically bonding crystalline polyvinyl ether having 50-145 deg.C m.p. and amorphous polymer having 50-100 deg.C glass transition point as a binder. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the copolymer prepd. by chemically bonding the crystalline polyvinyl ether having 50-145 deg.C m.p. and the amorphous polymer having 50-100 deg.C glass transition point as essential components is used as the binder. The m.p. of the crystalline polyvinyl ether is preferably higher than the glass transition point of the amorphous polymer. The toner is thereby made to melt at the lower temp. and the higher speed at the time of fixing with a heat roller and the excellent low-temp. fixability is obtd. The toner is hardened at an ordinary temp. and the decrease of the viscosity during melting is suppressed. The excellent offset resistance, blocking resistance, frictional electrostatic chargeability and durability are thus obtd. |
