This package 1 is constituted by a sheet 5 made of plastic material which externally surrounds the containers 2 aligned in two parallel rows. A support handle 7a is formed by an annular tape 7 wound in an intermediate plane separating the rows of containers. The annular tape 7 is placed on the outside of the envelope sheet 5 in a groove formed between the rows of containers. A reinforcing strip 8 can be provided to prevent the shearing of the bottom of the envelope 5 by the edges of the tape 7. Applications: in particular, for the holding and transportation of bottles containing water, non-alcoholic drinks or wine. <IMAGE>
