PURPOSE:To combine a generator as a starting motor for an engine by adding auxiliary coils to the generator, detecting the position of a rotor and conducting a main coil and each auxiliary coil in order. CONSTITUTION:Projecting sections K are formed to both magnetic poles of rotor cores 2. The projecting sections K are detected successively by first-third each detector P, Q, R, and a main winding M and first and second auxiliary windings X, Y are conducted in succession on the basis of the detecting outputs. The main winding M and the first and second auxiliary windings X, Y are separated successively at an electrical angle of 60 deg. and mounted. Since a rotor coil 3 is excited at all times, on the other hand, a rotor continuously generates torque. |
