PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in a cut shape by applying the laser output command in a laser beam machine through an element equal to the delay in the response time of an X-Y table for placing a material to be worked to a laser oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The laser output command for cutting an optional pattern is inputted from a numerical control device (NC device) 1 to a laser oscillator 5, a motor 2 for moving in an X-axis direction and a motor 3 for moving in a Y-axis direction to control the output of a laser beam and the movement of an X-Y table on which the material to be worked is placed according to the cutting shape, thereby cutting the material. The laser output command to be applied from the device 1 to the oscillator 5 in this case is applied through a delay element 10 equal to the response time of the table 4. If a time constant is set at the element 10 in such a way that the laser beam machining speed and the time constant in the delay of the power of the laser output coincide, the decrease in the cutting accuracy owing to a change in the cutting width of laser beam machining is prevented. |
