PURPOSE:To automatically process even the stamping operation of a registered seal before a new bankbook is automatically issued by a method wherein when the number of the printing blank space lines of an inserted circulated bankbook has reached a specified value, an unused bankbook is drawn out from a receipt means and neces sary matters including the stamping of registered seal are recorded on the unused bankbook by respective means on the basis of the information read from the magnetic stripe of the circulated bankbook. CONSTITUTION:When the issue instruction of a new bankbook is received, a used circulated bankbook 9 B is released to a recovery part 60 to be recovered in an appara tus by a control circuit 17. Then, one book of an unused bankbook 32 is fed as it is closed to a bankbook carrying passage 23 from the hopper 31 storing the unused bankbook. The store name, store number, account number, full name, etc. are printed on the backbone 33 of the bankbook by the instruction of the control circuit 17. After ending this treatment, it is fed to a bankbook automatic page opening part 50 and the backbone is turned over to open pages of the bankbook. Then, end paper printing is carried out on the back face of the backbone. Further, the seal of a treated bank branch store and the registered seal [i.e. 'OTODOKEIN' (Japanese)] of a customer are also automatically stamped and the new bankbook is automatically issued. |
