摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high-accuracy device which secures operation as a self-excited oscillation system and does not depend upon the temperature characteristics of piezoelectric elements by using elements of the same kind as the detection piezoelectric elements of the vibration system of a tuning fork and the piezoelectric element of the detection system. CONSTITUTION:The detection piezoelectric elements 6 and 6A of the vibration system of the tuning fork 1 and the piezoelectric element 30 of the detection system are composed of elements which have the same temperature characteristics. Then, the resistance values R1 and R2 of input resistors 34-1 and 35-1 of preamplifiers 34 and 35 to which the outputs of the elements 6 and 6A, and 30 are inputted are so set that R1=1/C1omega and R2=1/C2omega (where C1 and C2 are the electrostatic capacity values of the elements 6 and 6A, and 30 and omega is the angular frequency of the tuning force). Further, a phase shifter is provided on the output side of the preamplifier 34. Then, a gyro output is the product of the vibration amplitude of the tuning fork system and the output of the detection system, of the tuning fork system and the output of the detection system, so the temperature characteristics of the piezoelectric elements including the preamplifiers of the tuning fork system and detection system are minimized respectively to obtain the device which is not affected by temperature variation.
