An apparatus for boiling out wax from flasks (1), consisting of a housing (2), a boil-out space (4) which is arranged in the housing, accommodates the flasks, has a spray-nozzle arrangement (3) for spraying hot boil-out liquid onto the flasks and in which both the boil-out liquid (6), after wetting the flasks, and the liquid wax (7) running off the flasks collects, and of a recirculating pump (5) for the recirculating boil-out liquid is to avoid impairment of circulation and allow simple removal of the wax which has run off from the flasks. Arranged in the boil-out space (4) for this purpose is a wax-removal device (9) which draws off the liquid wax (7) floating on the accumulated boil-out liquid (6) and guides it into a wax drain line (8) outside the boil-out space (4). <IMAGE>
