PURPOSE:To enable a silver halide color photographic sensitive material to be rapidly processed and enhanced in gradation characteristics of an color image by incorporating photosensitive silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of >=90mol%, and a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material is obtained by forming on a support, at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a dye-forming coupler and the compound represented by formula I and at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing the silver halide grains having the silver chloride content of >=90mol%, and the compound represented by formula II. In formulae I and II, each of R21-R24 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, alkylacyloxy, arylacyloxy, or the like, and the total carbon number of at least one of R21 and R23 is >=3; Z is an atomic group necessary to form a benzotriazole or 1,2,3,4-thiatriazole ring. |
