The invention relates to a calculus crushing device with an endoscope (2). The endoscope (2) comprises a flexible insertion section (4) which can be inserted into a body cavity (28). By inserting the insertion section (4) into the body cavity (28) the interior of the body cavity (28) can be observed. The endoscope (2) also has a clamp orifice (10). An ultrasound wave conductor (16) which is used to conduct an ultrasound wave to a calculus (30) is inserted through this clamp orifice (10). The ultrasound wave conductor (16) is flexible, and its distal end can be inserted into the body cavity (28) via the clamp orifice (10) in such a way that it touches the calculus (30). An ultrasound wave generated by an ultrasound wave generating section (20, 22) is transmitted to the ultrasound wave conductor (16) and then to the calculus (30) in order to crush the latter. <IMAGE>
