PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body capable of maintaining a high sensitivity in a long period and having less tendency for generating a defect about an image quality by constituting a conductive layer from a metal or an alloy of said metals selected from V, Te and Mn. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is formed by laminating the conductive layer 2, the electric charge generating layer 3 and the electric charge transfer layer 4 on a substrate body 1 in this order. The conductive layer 2 is composed of at least one kind of the metal selected from V, Te and Mn, and the alloy of said metals. The material of the substrate body 1 is not specified, if said material has the conductive and insulating properties and a smooth surface. The conductive layer 2 is formed by forming a film from said metal or the alloy contg. >=50atom% of said metal by means of a vacuum depositing, a sputtering or an ion-plating method. The electrocharge generating layer 3 is formed by dispersing an org. dyestuff or a pigment in the high polymer resin or is obtd. by forming said obtd. polymer to a film by the vacuum-depositing or a casting method. The electrocharge transfer layer 4 is formed by coating PVK and an aromatic amine, etc., on the layer 3 in a thickness of 5-100mum, followed by laminating it. |
