The electrical switch according to the invention is equipped with connecting contacts which have a slot which is constructed in the form of a cutter and in which in each case one supply lead is inserted for contact-making purposes. In this case, the supply lead is provided in regions in a chamber of a connector. This connector is produced from an insulation material and has a chamber through which the supply lead passes transversely. The connector is pushed onto the connecting contact for fastening. In this case, contact is made between the supply lead and the connecting contact during the pushing-on movement.
