PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of an outboard engine body for the setting of the optimum tilt angle by providing a tilt angle fixing means for fixing the tilt angle to a set value in the course of increase. CONSTITUTION:A tilt angle fixing means 4 is constituted of a shunt resistor 8 for operation as electric current detecting element and a metal relay 10 whose detecting terminal is connected with the both edges of the shunt resistor 8. The metal relay 10 has a relay part, and when the electric current which flows in the shunt resistor 8 for operation, an ON/OFF-contact point 10A is opened. In other words, the increase of the tilt angle is suspended, and the angle is fixed. An up-side relay 14 or a down-side relay 16 is excited by turning-ON a trimming switch 12 from the release position to the up-side or down-side, and each contact point 14B or 16B (always opened contact point) is closed. |
