The invention relates to a locking device for a longitudinally adjustable wishbone boom of a sailboard. The locking is effected by distance sleeves 3 which are loosely pushed onto the inner tubes 2 and by a shaped body 5 which can alternatively be mounted between the distance sleeves. When the inner tubes 2 are pushed in, the outer tube 1 can accommodate the distance sleeves 3 not required and serving as a stop up to the shaped body 5. The tapered and slit shaped body 5, which can alternatively be arranged between the distance sleeves 3, is compressed on the inner tube upon pushing into the outer tube at its narrowed side facing the outer tube. The following distance sleeves 3 are prevented from penetrating at the collar of the shaped body 5 so that locking is effected. <IMAGE>
