In tearable individual packages, an upper and a lower pouch are formed by folding over a one-piece laminated film, the edge parts of which pouches are welded (inner inner seams). The upper pouch overlaps the lower one and is likewise welded in the edge part of the overlapping region (inner outer seams). The holding forces of the inner inner seams have to be greater than those of the inner outer seams or those of an adhesive strip sealing the upper pouch. The weakening of the seams has previously been achieved by surface treatment, such as corona discharging treatment or printer's black coating. The object consists in designing a package having an untreated laminated film to be more easily tearable along the centre bonding line and the inner outer seams than the inner inner seams. The object is achieved by a dual-layer laminated film which has, as the outer layer, a thin layer film made of a material such as polyethylene and, as the inner layer, a peelable film. Intermediate treatment is not required. Packagings for articles used for sanitary purposes. <IMAGE>
