PURPOSE:To understand the capacity of a toner of that time by a visual observation without drawing out a developing device 1 by a user of a device, and to execute in advance a preparation for replenishing the toner, so that an operation for drawing out the developing device can be omitted, by executing an analog display in proportion to the toner capacity in a toner capacity detecting circuit of the developing device using a two-component type developing system of an electrophotographic printing device. CONSTITUTION:A toner capacity detecting circuit is provided with a developing device 1, a toner capacity sensor 2 which has been attached to said device, a linearizing circuit 6 for inputting an output of the toner capacity sensor 2, and an analog indicator 7 for inputting an output of the linearizing circuit 6. The toner capacity sensor 2 outputs an analog output in proportion to the toner capacity in the developing device 1. The linearizing circuit 6 executes the linearization by inputting an output from the toner capacity sensor 2, and corrects the toner capacity and the linearizing circuit 6 so as to be proportional to the linearily. The analog indicator 7 executes an analog display in proportion to the output from the linearizing circuit 6. |
