PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing a cyan coupler high in coupling reactivity with a color developing agent and capable of releasing a photographically useful group at an adjustable timing by incorporating a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains one of the compounds represented by formula I in which each of R1-R3 is H or lower alkyl; R4 is lower alkyl; R5 is H, acylamino, sulfamoyl, or the like; n is an integer of 1-4; TIME is a timing group to be allowed to release together with PUG by the reaction of the compound of formula I with the oxidation product of a color developing agent, and then, to release PUG; and PUG is a photographically useful group. TIME is represented by formulae II, III, and the like in which X is an atomic group necessary to complete an optionally substituted benzene or naphthalene ring; Y is -O-, -S-, or the like; and each of R6-R8 is H, alkyl, or the like. |
