PURPOSE:To improve rigidity and prevent deformation by fixedly providing a reinforcing plate on which a rack is formed on one rail of a rail unit consisting of a body side rail and a seat side rail which is movably fitted to said body side rail. CONSTITUTION:Each of a pair of right and left rail units is formed by relatively movably fitting a body side rail 30 and a seat side rail 40 to each other. In this case, the body side rail 30 is formed by erecting side walls 32, 32 from an installing face plate 31, outwardly bending the end of each side wall 32 to form a fitting flange 33, and fixedly providing a reinforcing plate 36 which extends in the longitudinal direction and on which half threaded racks 37 are provided, extending over both flanges 33, 33. And, a part of a driving screw member 47 is projected out of a window hole 41a formed on the horizontal main face plate 41 of the seat side rail 40 and meshed with the lacks 37, and the driving screw member 47 is rotated by means of a motor via a flexible cable 12, to enable the longitudinal movement of the seat side rail 40. |
