MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture a color filter having a colored image whose picture quality and dimension accuracy are good, by applying a resin to the surface of a cylindrical blanket by an immersion drawing-up method, smoothing the surface of the blanket, and printing the colored image by using the cylindrical blanket whose surface has been smoothed. CONSTITUTION:In case of manufacturing a color filter for printing and forming a colored image onto a transparent substrate, by an offset printing method for transfer ring ink to the surface to be printed, through the blanket from an edition drum, by using the cylindrical blanket 1 whose roundness and accuracy of a diameter are excel lent, a resin is applied to the surface of the cylindrical blanket 1 by an immersion drawing-up method, the surface of the blanket 1 is smoothed, and by using the cylindri cal blanket 1 whose surface has been smoothed, printing of the colored image is execut ed. As for rubber used for the blanket 1, nitrile rubber, natural rubber, stylene rubber, urethane rubber, etc., are available, and an out-of-roundness diameter of a design value is obtained by cutting and grinding the rubber of the cylindrical blanket consisting of those materials. In this way, by the blanket whose out-of-roundness and accuracy of the diameter are excellent, and whose surface is smooth, a colored image having a high picture quality and a high dimension accuracy can be printed.
