PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent bubbles from being left in a workpiece and, in addition, pressure failure and breakage due to excessive pressure from occurring by a method wherein a position, at which evacuation is performed and a position, at which pressurizing and heating are performed, are provided independently. CONSTITUTION:At a first stop position P1, an enclosed space 10 is formed by an upper and a lower press platens 2 and 3 and a sealing material 7, which surrounds a workpiece W, in order to evacuate the interior of the enclosed space 10. As a result, the workpiece W on a sheet material 4, which is placed on one press platen 2 or 3 is separated from the other press platen 3 or 2 by the predetermined gap DELTAx. Accordingly, undesirable pressurizing to the workpiece W itself is avoided and gas among the laminates of the workpiece W is completely evacuated and no bubble can be left in the interior of the workpiece. Further, at a position P2, the sheet material 4 absorbs the pressure difference due to irregularities on the surface of the workpiece W and the like, resulting in allowing to effectively prevent the thermocompression failure and the breakage of the workpiece W due to excessive pressure from occurring. |
