<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily revert a long length material such as an angle bar, so that one side part and the other side part thereof are directed obliquely downward, by holding the long length material in a holding section and by releasing the hold of the long length material. CONSTITUTION:Since the conveying speed of transverse feed conveyers 5 is higher than that of inverting conveyers 7, an angle bar W which is conveyed by the transverse feed conveyers 5 is fitted into a locking groove 710 in a locking pawl 71 and is held therein. In this condition one side part W1 of the angle member W is made to upright while the other side part W2 is directed in the conveying direction, and therefore it is shifted onto the inverting conveyers 7, being sidelong. In the inverting section of the conveyers 7, an inverting jig 8 abuts against the one side W1 of the angle bar W so that the angle bar W is released from the locking pawl 71 and is rotated in the cross-sectional direction of the angle bar W by the dead weight of the one side part W1. As a result the angle bar W is set on an inverting jig 8 while the one side part W1 and the other side part W2 being directed obliquely downward.</p> |
