An apparatus for light coagulation of the morbid part characterized by an optical fiber (22), a laser source (37) for generating laser light and for leading the light to the optical fiber (22), a flexible barrel (21) which the optical fiber (22) is inserted through and means (41) for supplying transparent cooling liquid into the space (20) between the outside of the optical fiber (22) and the inside of the barrel (21), an end portion of the optical fiber (22) being positioned inner to an end portion of the barrel (21) in the axial alignment and an apparatus for light coagulation of the morbid part characterized by an optical fiber (22), a laser source (37) for generating laser light and for leading the light to the optical fiber (22), a flexible barrel (21) which the optical fiber (22) is inserted through and means (41) for supplying transparent cooling water into the space (20) between the outside of the optical fiber (22) and the inside of the barrel (21), an end portion (24) of the barrel (21) being made of metal and being exchangeable.
