PURPOSE:To sterilize the miscellaneous bacteria in the water stored in a water storage tank and to provide drinking water which is hygienically satisfactory by projecting rays having sterilizing power to the drinking water flowing in a water feed pipe connected to said tank. CONSTITUTION:The water feed pipe 9 is connected to the water storage tank in which city water is once stored. A ray generating device 11 for projecting rays such as UV rays having the sterilizing power to the drinking water flowing in the pipe 9 is provided to part of the pipe 9. As a result, the miscellaneous bacteria in the stored water are sterilized and the drinking water which is hygienically satisfactory is obtd. |
