PURPOSE:To operate a computer system efficiently by making period of fixed period operation variable and suppressing CPU load to constant changing the period at any time. CONSTITUTION:A starting timer is subtracted by a periodical starting timer processing 1 according to periodical time taken out from a periodical time table 5, and periodical starting timing is prepared. When [on] is designated to this function at the time of starting timing, CPU load check processing is made, and if not, a relevant periodical starting task is started as it is. In the CPU load check process, the load factor of a computer is watched at all times, and it is determined whether present load factor is above specified upper limit value, within specified upper and lower limits or below specified lower limit. In period changing process 3, period is changed to suppress CPU load according to determined state of load using a process priority table 6 and an allowable period table 7. The changed period is set to a period time table 5 and a relevant processing task is started. |
