<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high decontamination effect with a small-sized device by bubbling exhaust gas in a first washing soln. to wash the gas, and bringing the gas into countercurrent contact with a second washing soln. in a washing tower. CONSTITUTION:A means for keeping the liq. level in an exhaust gas pipe 4, etc., at a specified position is provided to a first washing vessel 1. The flue gas contg. dust such as the exhaust gas from an incinerator for radioactive waste is bubbled into the first washing soln. of sodium hydroxide, etc., from the opening of a flue gas inlet pipe 2 provided with a gas diffusing means 5, and the dust in the flue gas is removed. The flue gas after being washed in the first washing vessel 1 is introduced into the washing tower 3 such as a packed tower having a gas-liq. contact part 8, brought into countercurrent contact with the second washing soln. sprayed from the upper part of the tower 3, and further washed. The second washing soln. flowing down through the tower is collected in a vessel 9, and circulated by a pump 10 to the washing tower 3 through a cooler 11. Besides, a part of the second washing soln. is circulated to the flue gas inlet pipe 2 along with the first washing soln., and used in the gas-liq. contact.</p> |
