PURPOSE:To transfer voice and data, coexisting on the same channel, to different terminals at the same time, by exchanging the voice and data on a highway independently of each other on time-division basis. CONSTITUTION:Time switches 261-26l are provided with voice phase converting and holding memories 31-3l and data phase converting and holding memories 51- 5l. Space switches 271-27l, on the other hand, are provided with voice highway converting and holding memories 131-13l and data highway converting and holding memories 141-14l. The voice signal of information on each channel is exchanged on time-division basis by being controlled by the memories 31-3l and memories 131-13l, and the data is exchanged on time-division basis by being controlled by the memories 51-5l and memories 141-14l. Thus, the voice and data are exchanged on time-division basis independently of each other, so the voice and data coexisting on the same channel are transferred to different terminals at the same time. |
