The present invention relates to a method for tagging a substrate for checking chronicle and authenticity and, more specifically, to a method for tagging paper, canvas, ink, paint, a pigment, a picture, metal craft, and an art work such as a sculpture by marking with a radioisotope for checking chronicle and authenticity. Also, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing paper, canvas, ink, paint, a pigment, a picture, metal craft, and an art work such as a sculpture to mark a user′s own mark. To achieve the purpose of the present invention, the radioisotope of ^14^C, ^3^H, ^26^Al, and ^41^C can be used, but the radioisotope is not limited within the same. According to the present invention, the radioisotope is added to the paper and the same, and the authenticity and the chronicle of the picture and the like in analysis can be checked. Also, when a content of the radioisotope and combination of various compounds are designated in advance by the combination of only the radioisotope, the paper and a product on which the user′s own mark can be marked can be manufactured.
