PURPOSE:To make inconspicuous the dot omission of a small amount of image in the case of photographic printing on paper of low smoothness, by a method wherein a photographic printing means, a gamma conversion table memory, and a means for addressing said memory are provided, and halftone is slantwise emphasized on a photographic printing matter by changing the gamma conversion table according to positional information. CONSTITUTION:A gamma conversion table memory 1 has two kinds of tables correcting a density curve to inputted data. An output signal of the line switching apparatus 3 emitting a signal being altered at a first bit, a third bit, and each one line of an address counter 2 is inputted into an AND apparatus and two kinds of tables are changed by an output signal 8 of the AND apparatus. Then, the halftone are slantwise emphasized by execution of fine- partition drive while moving it in the direction of a line. |
