摘要 PURPOSE:To make suitable blowing oxygen quantity by finding accurately a secondary combustion rate, by taking a sample in exhaust gas from a smelting reduction furnace, sending this sample to a moisture detector and a gas analyzer and operating each measured value. CONSTITUTION:A piping 15 is inserted into a gas duct 14 connecting with shaft type furnace part 1 in the smelting reduction furnace and sample of the exhaust gas 13 is taken and sent to the gas analyzer 16 to find the contains of CO, CO2, O2, N2, Ar, H2 in the exhaust gas 13. On the other hand, a branching pipe 18, covered by heat insulating unit 19, is connected with the piping 15 and the part of exhaust gas 13 is sent to the moisture detector 21 from the branching pipe 18, to detect the moisture. The detected values by the gas analyzer 16 and the moisture detector 21 are transmitted to the computing element 22, to operate the secondary combustion rate (CO2+H2O)/(CO+CO2+H2O+H2). As compared with between the secondary combustion rate and the setting value, the result is transmitted to the lance 4 to control the operational condition for top blowing oxygen quantity, etc.
