<p>A blind rivet body (12) has a plurality of longitudinally-extending circumferentially-spaced weakened lines (26) terminating in spaced relation from the rivet flange (14) and the open end (16) of the rivet body (12) so that upon setting by pulling the mandrel head (24) towards the flange (14), the rivet body separates at the weakened lines (26) to form a plurality of outwardly extending doubled-over petals (32, 34, 36) forming an enlarged secondary head on the rivet body (12). <IMAGE></p> |
