<p>A veterinary implant including an effective amount of (a) an active ingredient selected from melatonin, related indoles and derivatives thereof, or mixtures thereof and (b) a veterinarily acceptable carrier or excipient selected to provide, in use, in combination with the active ingredient (a), a generally continuous release rate of active ingredient sufficient to maintain blood melatonin, or its equivalent, at, or above, natural night time level.</p> |
