Novel peptides of the formula: (I) wherein R is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and processes for preparing the same are disclosed. The peptides and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are useful for the treatment of central nervous system disorders.
