PURPOSE:To enhance transfer efficiency and to improve development performance by incorporating toner particles and fine tin oxide particles having a specified electric resistance. CONSTITUTION:The developer contains the toner particles and fine tin oxide particles made of SnO2 or SnO having an electric resistivity of 10<2>-10<9>OMEGA.cm, preferably, 10<5>-10<8>OMEGA.cm, and preferably, having an average particle diameter of <=0.3mum, in an amount of 0.1-5.0wt%, preferably, 1.0-3.0wt% of the toner, thus permitting transfer efficiency to be enhanced, development performance to be improved, especially, triboelectrifiability sharp and stable in electric charge distribution to be obtained, electrifiable quantity and image quality to be independent of circumstantial conditions, and durability to be superior. |
