摘要 PURPOSE:To always detect an accurate flow rate value even when the quantity of fuel vapor gas which enters an intake passage from a canister is increased by operating an air flow rate from a throttle valve opening and an engine speed and correcting the operated air flow rate in accordance with the opening of a purge control valve. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine has a canister 3 for introducing a fuel vapor gas generated in a fuel tank into an intake passage 2 via a purge control valve 1. An engine speed detecting means 4 of a crank angle sensor, etc. detects engine speed and a throttle valve opening detecting means 5 detects the opening of the throttle valve in the intake passage 2. And, based on the detected signals of these detecting means 4, 5, an intake air flow rate is operated by an air flow rate operating means 6. And, by providing a purge control valve opening operating means 7 for operating the opening of the purge control valve 1, the operated value of the intake air flow rate is corrected in accordance with the opening of the purge control valve 1 which is operated by the means 7, by an air flow rate correcting means 8.
