PURPOSE:To provide a pack cosmetic having improved film-forming speed and moisture-retaining effect, etc., and composed of the 1st agent containing an aqueous solution of a carboxyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol and a specific metal salt and the 2nd agent containing an aqueous solution of a specific alginic acid salt and borax. CONSTITUTION:The objective pack cosmetic having high film-forming rate, capable of keeping the moisture-retainability and film strength of the dried film even after being left on the skin for a long period, peelable from the skin with little stimulation and having high moisture-retainability is composed of the 1st agent containing an aqueous solution of (A) a carboxyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol and (B) a lactate and/or chloride of a metal having >=2 valencies and the 2nd agent containing an aqueous solution of (C) sodium salt, potassium salt and/or triethanolamine salt of alginic acid and (D) borax. The amounts of the components A, B, C and D are 5-30wt%, 0.1-10wt%, 1-10wt% and 0.1-5wt% on solid basis, respectively. |
