A method and system for observing biological species in a culture medium. The invention relates to a method for observing biological species in a culture medium (M) contained in a container (R) having a base (E) and a cover (C) made of a transparent material, said method being carried out without opening the cover (C) and comprising the following steps: a) taking an image of the culture medium (M) through the cover (C); b) performing a plurality of movements of the cover (C) relative to the base (E) while keeping the cover (C) in contact with the base (E); c) taking an image of the culture medium (M) through the cover (C) after each movement of the cover (C); and d) analysing and comparing the light intensity levels of the various images, implementing a method for rejecting aberrant light intensity levels resulting from defects (D) present on the cover (C) in order to construct a final image of the culture medium (M). |
