The dispersions, for use in making polyurethane foams and elastomers, are obtained by polymerisation of at least one ethylenically-unsatd. monomer in a hydroxylated polyester medium of mol. wt. 1000-5000, made by poly-esterification of a polycarboxylic acid or deriv. with poly-hydroxyl cpds. at 100-250 deg.
