PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation of a bearing by making the swaying shaft of a swayable actuator a hollow shaft, housing springs in through holes provided in the radial direction of this shaft, flexing the springs via a bar-like structure inserted into the hollow shaft, and applying the pre-pressure concurrently to multiple bearings. CONSTITUTION:A rotary carriage 3 is swayably supported by a hollow shaft 1 through roll bearings 2, and a coil bobbin 4 wound with a wire 5 is fitted to this carriage 3 and a head arm 6 is fitted to a position opposite to this bobbin 4 respectively. Through holes are formed in the radial direction of the shaft 1 at positions where the bearings 2 are coupled, and a radial pad 13 and a radial spring 14 are housed in each through hole. A through pin 15 provided with a chamber along the longitudinal direction on one side is inserted into the hollow shaft 1, thus flexing the spring 14 with one end seated on the chamber portion. By energizing the pad 13 outward, a pre-pressure is applied to the bearings 2, and a radial gap between the bearing inner-ring and the shaft 1 is removed.
