摘要

PURPOSE:The titled absorbing agent that contains a specific metal complex, thus having absorption bands near infrared region and being suitably used in a remote controller for TV set or as a filter for preventing the misoperation of speed and distant-measuring devices caused by visible rays. CONSTITUTION:The objective near infrared ray-absorbing agent contains a metal complex of formula I [X1, X2 are nitro, halogen, (substituted) phenylazo, (substituted) naphthylazo; n1, n2 are 1-3; R1, R2 are amino, monoalkylamino, acetylamino, (substituted) benzoylamino; M is Cr, Fe, Co; m is 2 or more; Y is 2 or more valent metal ion]. The compound of formula I is obtained by diazotizing a diazo component of formulas II and III, effecting coupling of the diazonium compound with a coupling component of formulas IV, V into a monoazo compound of formulas VI, VII, treating the product with a corresponding metal donor in a solvent and effecting ion-exchange treatment with a polyvalent metal salt corresponding to Y.
