PURPOSE:An olefinic polymer blend having improved adhesiveness and coating performance, containing an olefinic polymer and a specific organic compound having a peroxide bond and a hydroxyl group. CONSTITUTION:The desired blend containing (A) 100pts.wt. olefinic polymer and (B) 1-50pts.wt. organic compound shown by the formula I [R<1> and R<2> are H, or CH3; R<3> is 2-6C alkylene; Y, and Z are 1-20C hydrocarbon residue, or organic residue containing one or more bonds of ether, ketone and/or ester; W is phenyl, cyano, -COOR<4> (R<4> is H, 1-6C alkyl), or -OCOCH3, or Cl; X is component obtained by polymerization of compound shown by the formula II (R<5> is H, or 1-4C alkyl; R<6> and R<8> are 1-4C alkyl; R<7> is 1-12C alkyl, etc.), or compound shown by the formula III; l, n and p are 1-10,000; m is 0 or 1-10,000; (l+m+n)Xp is >=10,000] containing a peroxide bond and a hydroxyl group.
