The solar panel includes a support intended to be oriented, solely in azimuth, towards the sun, the orientation in elevation being fixed. The panel comprises a row of photocells and a linear-focus Fresnel lens 18 concentrating the radiation onto the photocells. The lens is placed so that the photocells are situated in a plane approximately half way between the focal plane of the lens under normal incidence and the focal plane of the lens for an almost maximum elevation incidence.
